I’m Warlene Rene and a lover of fashion and antique things. I come from a family of many seamstresses and grew up around so many lovely things. My mother was a re seller of vintage and antique goods to women in her community and my father a construction worker and amazing tailor. I grew up with an enormous love of getting dressed and always dreamed of either designing my own clothing or owning my own boutique. I attended The Art Institute and pursued a degree in Fashion Design. Afterwards I went on to create custom accessories for brides and loved it so much that in 2008 I wanted to become even better at bridal sewing and was hired and eventually worked as an alterations specialist at three different Davids Bridal salons. I did this for 10 years, and in 2017 decided to launch my own seasonal wedding business, servicing brides with alterations and custom designs. I still service that industry today, but my latest venture blogging and designing more for myself and going back to my roots of collecting beautiful vintage and antique things the way my mother use to do. My style I like to call eclectic with a mix of classic. I hope you will enjoy this platform and draw much inspiration.
